Digital Transformation

Digital transformation is the process of integrating digital technologies into all areas of a business to improve operations, customer experiences, and business models. ROI (Return on Investment)

ROI measures the return on an investment relative to its cost. MVP (Minimum Viable Product)

An MVP is the minimum but functional version of a product or service, launched to validate a hypothesis with minimal investment. For AI projects, an MVP might be a chatbot that handles the 10 most frequent FAQs, or an automatic classification system for a single document type. Start small, measure, and scale.

POC (Proof of Concept)

A POC is a small-scale pilot project to demonstrate the technical feasibility and value of a solution before investing in full implementation. A typical AI POC lasts 2-4 weeks, uses a subset of real data, and produces concrete metrics. It is the safest way for SMEs to validate AI before committing significant budget.

Scalability

Scalability is the ability of a system or process to handle increasing volumes without degrading performance or requiring proportionally increasing costs. A scalable AI system can go from 100 to 10,000 documents processed per day without redesign. Scalability is one of AI's main promises: once built, the marginal cost per unit decreases.
